PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Tour Guide to support a leader in the aerospace industry at their world-renowned Future of Flight facility in Mukilteo, WA. In this exciting role, you’ll bring the story of aerospace innovation to life for thousands of visitors — inspiring curiosity, learning, and discovery in one of the Pacific Northwest’s most iconic attractions.
Location: Mukilteo, WA 98275
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 1st Shift | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Flexibility Required)
Assignment: 6-Month Contract | Full-Time | 100% Onsite
Starting Pay Rate: $22.06 per hour
As a Tour Guide, you’ll be part of the Visitor Relations team, delivering unforgettable experiences through engaging storytelling, interactive presentations, and behind-the-scenes factory tours. You’ll represent the forefront of aerospace advancement — connecting visitors to the innovation and spirit of flight that drives the industry forward.
Lead guided tours and interactive experiences for diverse audiences — up to 52 guests per tour or 200 in presentations.
Deliver scripted content and educational storytelling that highlights aerospace innovation, technology, and manufacturing excellence.
Engage visitors throughout the Future of Flight facility — including ticketing, gallery exhibits, and STEM-focused activities such as robotics or drone demonstrations.
Provide friendly, professional guest service and assist with wayfinding, ticketing, and event support.
Collaborate with team members to ensure on-time operations, safety, and an exceptional visitor experience.
Continuously learn and update your knowledge of aerospace developments and exhibit content.
1+ years of experience in customer service, public speaking, education, or hospitality.
Demonstrated ability to present information clearly and confidently to large groups.
Reliable, punctual, and professional with excellent communication skills.
Comfortable working on your feet and speaking for extended periods (up to 90 minutes, multiple times daily).
Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience giving public tours or leading interactive group presentations.
Familiarity with event technology, exhibits, or POS systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Background in STEM education, aviation, or museum operations a plus.
