PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Assembler to support a global leader in the aerospace industry. This is an exciting opportunity to play a hands-on role in the production of critical aircraft components that keep the world’s fleets flying safely and efficiently.

Location: Parsippany, NJ 07054
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Assignment: 6-Month Contract | Full-Time | 100% Onsite
Starting Pay Rate: $24.19 per hour

What You’ll Do

As an Assembler, you’ll perform essential tasks in the wheel and brake assembly process, supporting aircraft systems that are vital to flight safety and performance. Working as part of a collaborative production team, you’ll ensure every component meets exacting aerospace standards for quality and reliability.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical subassemblies, systems, and accessories.

• Receive, unbox, inspect, disassemble, clean, sandblast, and prepare aircraft wheels and brakes for delivery.

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and air tools safely and effectively.

• Follow detailed work instructions and quality procedures to ensure precision and compliance.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-conscious work area.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to use hand, power, and air tools in an assembly or mechanical environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 15 lbs during the shift.

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or mechanical assembly.

• Familiarity with FAA safety-sensitive environments.

• Ability to follow engineering drawings or technical documentation.
