Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9x80 Work Schedule
Assignment: 12-Month Contract | Full-Time
Starting Pay Rate: $50.05 per hour
As an NDT Test Examiner, you will be a trusted technical authority within the Safety and Mission Assurance department, ensuring the integrity and reliability of mission-critical components. Your expertise in nondestructive testing will uphold world-class standards for safety, precision, and performance — directly supporting programs that shape the future of aerospace innovation.
Perform Radiography and Liquid Dye Penetrant Testing using both film and digital systems.
Train, examine, and certify NDT personnel in accordance with NAS 410 and company standards.
Act as a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to ISO specifications and quality standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced inspectors.
Review engineering documentation, inspection plans, and part drawings to ensure conformance.
Generate nonconformance reports and collaborate with teams to resolve discrepancies.
Support testing on various shifts and travel as needed to accomplish project goals.
Level 3 certification in Radiography and Liquid Dye Penetrant per NAS 410 / ASNT standards.
Demonstrated expertise in radiographic evaluation (film and digital).
Strong understanding of NAS 410 requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and adaptable to new software tools.
Skilled in technical writing and clear communication.
Willingness to work 2nd shift, overtime, or weekends as required, and to travel occasionally.
Experience performing configuration reviews to verify as-built vs. as-designed accuracy.
Familiarity with TipQA or Costpoint database applications.
Additional certifications in Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, or Ultrasonic Testing.
Prior experience supporting DCMA audits or working in an ISO-certified environment.
