JOB TITLE: P-8 Maintenance Technicians

PAY RATE: $35-43/hour

Summary:

Perform the removal, replacement, modification, or upgrade of aircraft components to correct failures or implement changes.

Troubleshoot complex avionics, pneumatic, hydraulic, engine, and structural systems and components.

Validate and verify testing systems and components.

Document maintenance procedures and processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, modifications, and inspections).

Inspect components and verify repairs meet flightworthiness requirements.

Perform tasks related to the safe handling of aircraft.

Provide Advanced Skills Management (ASM) certification to government personnel.

Apply professional technical expertise to solve complex problems using technical data such as blueprints and manufacturer manuals.

Perform maintenance actions in accordance with CNAFINST 4790.2 series procedures.

Identify material and tool requirements for daily assignments.

Support detachments away from the Main Operating Base (MOB) as needed.

Complete temporary assignments to Whidbey Island, Washington, for up to 8 weeks.

Work under minimal supervision.

Requirements:

Active Secret Clearance required to start.

High School diploma/GED

Minimum of 5 years of experience in military or civilian aircraft maintenance and/or production.

5+ years of experience supporting P-8A Poseidon, 737, or 4790 maintenance organizations.

Experience working with U.S. Navy Advanced Skills Management (ASM).

Experience supporting maintenance operations in a military or aerospace environment.

Must be willing and able, at leadership s discretion, to deploy or travel (domestically or internationally) on short notice for various durations to meet customer and contractual needs.

Failure to deploy/travel, unless for compelling reasons, will be considered a resignation.

Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime; some positions may require rotating shifts.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
