Summary:

Supports the development and documentation of mechanical, fluid, and thermal systems.

Assists in creating, maintaining, and modifying system designs and proposals to provide clear design documentation and high-level requirements for downstream users and customers.

Performs detailed design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations.

Contributes to spatial integration at the system or component level, including mechanisms, landing gear, and ordnance systems.

Prepares technical documents for mechanical components and systems and assists in proposal preparation and new business development efforts.

Works under general supervision.

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a secret clearance

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering

2+ years of experience in an engineering discipline, or a Master s degree with related experience

Degree must be from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry

Experience with Siemens NX CAD system

Experience designing flight simulators and aircraft cockpit structures

Experience designing parts for 3D printing, CNC machining, and waterjet cutting

Experience designing packaging for electrical systems

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience with general fabrication, precision machining, and complex assembly techniques

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
