PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Site Support Specialist to provide critical IT support at our client Honeywell in Lansdale, PA location. This role is essential to ensuring seamless technology operations and exceptional end-user experiences across a dynamic, mixed-network environment.
About the Role
As a Site Support Specialist, you will be the go-to expert for hardware, software, network, and mobile device support. You’ll play a key role in onboarding new hires, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with asset management policies. Your contributions will directly impact operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Provide end-user support for hardware installations, BIOS patches, and desktop troubleshooting.
Manage network connectivity, patching, and custom cable creation; troubleshoot using Netscout network analyzer.
Administer VOIP systems (Teams, ZOOM), including programming extensions and deploying new services.
Install and deploy licensed software, ensuring compliance with software asset management policies.
Provision and image user workstations using Dell LTP and Acronis tools; manage inventory and disposal of obsolete equipment.
Ensure workstations are up to date with security patches and virus/spam protection.
Maintain and troubleshoot printers; coordinate with vendors and system admins for queue setup.
Support mobile device management and vendor account coordination.
Participate in daily huddles to resolve aging tickets and improve response times.
Uphold IT Asset Management processes to support DFARS and CMMC certifications.
Contribute to Lean/Six Sigma and 6S initiatives for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or 5 years of relevant experience
A+ Certification and knowledge of PC architecture
5 years of network troubleshooting in a corporate WAN environment
5 years of VOIP deployment and support (Teams, ZOOM, RingCentral)
5 years of mobile device management experience (Airwatch or similar MDM tools)
5 years of hardware provisioning using automated tools (LTP, Ivanti EPM, MS USMT)
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency in MS Teams, ZOOM Meetings, and ZOOM Administration
Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Demonstrated excellence behaviors and customer service skills
