Summary:

Plans, organizes, directs, and reports on all supplier quality activities related to raw materials, packaging, GMP service providers, contract manufacturers, and laboratories to ensure fulfillment of contractual and purchase order requirements.

Ensures control of supplier nonconforming items, conducts analyses, and monitors corrective action effectiveness.

Develops, applies, and maintains quality evaluation systems and protocols for processing materials into finished or partially finished products.

Collaborates with internal teams and external suppliers to uphold quality standards, performs source inspections, audits suppliers and subcontractors, and ensures compliance with corporate and government requirements.

Manages supplier qualifications, reviews certifications, and supports continuous improvement initiatives through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Requirements:

Ability to obtain a clearance (not required to start).

Bachelor s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Experience developing and reviewing quality standards, procedures, and control plans.

Proficient in D/PFMEA, procedure compliance assessments, and process/product audits.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

Knowledge of inspection methods for electronic circuit cards and electro-mechanical assemblies.

Experience managing nonconforming materials (MRB).

Skilled in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions using 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, and related tools.

Understanding of AS9100 Quality Management Systems and AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements.

Experience with supplier quality assurance/control and DoD customers.

Strong project management and multitasking skills.

Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and presentation abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Project, Visio).

Familiar with special processes and supplier management best practices.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
