PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse operations. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the safe and efficient movement of materials in a dynamic logistics environment.
About the Role
As a Material Handler, you’ll be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting materials within the facility using various types of equipment. You’ll follow established procedures to ensure accurate placement, inventory tracking, and timely delivery of materials to designated areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials from trucks, aircraft, trains, or other transport vehicles
- Move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, conveyors, or hand trucks
- Ensure accurate placement and storage of materials
- Assist with inventory counts and material tracking
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of material handling equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 0–2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or related field
- Familiarity with standard warehouse practices and procedures
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 10–15 lbs. with minimal repetitions
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Work performed in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levels

- Pay Rate: $18/hour
- Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (includes rotational Saturdays)
- Subcontractor Bonus Program – Earn up to $3,000:
- $1,000 at 14 days with perfect attendance
- $1,000 at 60 days
- $1,000 at 90 days

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
