Schedule: Monday to Friday; Shifts: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. Contractors must be available to work all 3 shifts. Shifts are dependent on Business needs.
Pay Rate: $ 29.30 to $39.14 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking highly experienced Aircraft Assemblers to support critical production operations for our aerospace partner. In this role, you’ll be part of a skilled team building the structural foundations of state-of-the-art aircraft. Every part you assemble plays a key role in ensuring the safety, performance, and reliability of today’s and tomorrow’s aviation technology.
As an Aircraft Assembler, you will:
Perform complex structural assembly using both manual and automated tools.
Work with advanced aerospace materials, including carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP), aluminum, and titanium.
Conduct close-tolerance drilling, reaming, trimming, shimming, and fastener installation to exact specifications.
Use precision measuring tools to validate component accuracy and alignment.
Set up and validate tooling, jigs, and fixtures to prepare for critical assembly operations.
Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical work instructions.
Support production timelines with consistent, reliable attendance and quality workmanship.
High-speed/low-speed drills, nut runners, pneumatic and electric tools, Quackenbush equipment
Installation/removal of a variety of aerospace fasteners
Advanced measuring instruments and calibrated gauges
Working knowledge of both metallic and composite material handling
Required Experience:
7+ years of hands-on mechanical, aerospace assembly, or advanced manufacturing experience
Proficiency using hand, power, and pneumatic tools in a precision assembly environment
Strong ability to interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and work instructions
Previous experience working with structural part fabrication and high-tolerance assembly
Solid computer skills: Microsoft Office, email, and web-based platforms
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Comfortable with climbing, kneeling, bending, crouching, and working in confined or elevated spaces
Willingness to work in environments involving hazardous chemicals or materials
