Guidance Navigation and Control (GN&C) Engineer

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (First Shift)
Starting Pay : $75.68 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Guidance Navigation and Control (GN&C) Engineer to support our partner, a leader in the aerospace industry. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to advanced GN&C system design, analysis, integration, and sustainment in support of critical defense and aerospace programs, including the Minuteman III Sustainment Program. Your expertise will help ensure the reliability, survivability, and performance of mission-critical systems that protect national security.
Gather and define system-level requirements for Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems.
Perform and document analyses of GN&C systems, models, simulations, and tools.
Support design reviews, analyses, simulations, and component/system testing.
Troubleshoot sustainment-related anomalies and incidents.
Contribute to sustainment and performance enhancements to extend End-of-Life (EOL) capabilities.
Collaborate across engineering teams to ensure solutions meet or exceed customer and program requirements.
Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
9+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work history.
Coursework and/or experience in Control Systems or GN&C system design.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience with system/component modeling and simulation.
Knowledge of Kalman Filter design and estimation techniques.
Hands-on experience implementing algorithms in real-time systems.
Proficiency with auto-coding software tools.
Programming skills in C, C#, C++, Ada, or similar languages.
Prior experience with Minuteman III Guidance Systems a plus.
