Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer for a hybrid contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): • 3 + years working experience in DOORS • 3 + years Hands-on experience with Cameo • Familiarity with system design concepts and tradeoffs • Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Work with interdisciplinary subject matter experts to analyze and document system requirements in DOORS • Assist with system architecture analysis using tools like Cameo to assess and capture system use cases, interfaces, timing, and designs • Capture verification artifacts to support Functional Configuration Audit (FCA)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): • Experience with C++, MATLAB, Python is a plus • Familiarity with fundamentals of missile system concepts • Prior experience with DoD projects, particularly IAMD Missile Systems • Desire to learn detailed missile/ground system/fire control theory and operation
