PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global aerospace leader to hire a Structural Analysis Engineer. In this role, you will directly support high-profile programs—ranging from next-generation aircraft to space launch systems—by ensuring structural integrity, safety, and performance. Your expertise will help deliver cutting-edge solutions to customers worldwide.
As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you’ll work under general supervision as part of the Philadelphia Design Center (PDC) team. You’ll apply your engineering skills to validate and verify components and systems across programs such as the 787, Air Force One, Autonomous Systems, F-18, Space Launch Systems, and Starliner.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis using classical methods and finite element tools to define environments, characteristics, and performance.
Support test execution, analyze data, and report results to confirm compliance with requirements.
Document certification and test outcomes to satisfy customers and regulatory agencies.
Support in-service products by investigating failures and recommending improvements.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide substantiation for critical aerospace programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry; Master’s degree preferred.
2+ years of related experience (or equivalent education/experience).
Structural analysis expertise, including classical analysis and finite element analysis (FEA).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with aerospace tools and processes.
Aerospace industry analysis experience.
ABET-accredited degree (preferred, not required).
Hybrid role: Must be on-site Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in Ridley Park, PA.
First shift (6 AM – 3 PM / 9 AM – 6 PM).
Optional 9x80 schedule.
