PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global aerospace leader to hire a Structural Analysis Engineer. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring the strength, safety, and performance of advanced aerospace systems. Your work will support high-profile programs across both commercial and defense platforms, making an impact on missions that shape the future of flight and space exploration.
As part of the Philadelphia Design Center (PDC) team, you’ll collaborate with engineers across disciplines to deliver structural substantiation for cutting-edge aerospace programs.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis using classical methods and finite element analysis (FEA) tools.
Support testing activities and analyze results to verify compliance with specifications.
Document findings for customers and regulatory agencies to demonstrate requirements are met.
Work closely with senior engineers to gain hands-on experience in critical stress analysis projects.
Support substantiation efforts across multiple advanced aerospace programs.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (or equivalent education/experience).
Hands-on experience in structural analysis, including classical analysis and FEA.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with industry-standard engineering tools.
Prior aerospace analysis experience.
ABET-accredited degree (preferred but not required).
Hybrid role: Must be on-site Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in Ridley Park, PA.
First shift (6 AM – 3 PM / 9 AM – 6 PM).
Optional 9x80 schedule available.
