Procurement/Purchasing Associate – Drive Supply Chain Success in Aerospace
Everett, WA | 6-Month Contract | $54.56/hr | 1st Shift, 9AM–3PM

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Procurement/Purchasing Associate to join our team, partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry. In this role, you’ll ensure the seamless procurement of critical materials, parts, and services that keep complex aerospace programs moving forward. Your expertise will directly influence cost, quality, and delivery performance, helping shape the success of high-profile projects.

What You’ll Do

• Execute procurement processes including RFPs, cost analysis, and negotiations.

• Prepare purchase orders, compile price proposals, and approve payments.

• Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contracts and resolve delivery issues.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to meet program goals and customer satisfaction.

• Respond to inquiries on order status, changes, or cancellations.

• Work across a variety of commodities including machined/sheet metal parts, electrical components, hardware, and more.

• Utilize Excel (pivot tables, search functions, XLookUps, sorting, filtering) for daily reporting and analysis.

• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of procurement/purchasing experience, OR 10+ years of relevant experience without a degree.

• Strong background in supply chain, procurement, and purchasing (planners not needed).

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Motivation, common sense, and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems.

• Background in program management or continuous improvement projects.

• Experience working with aerospace commodities or complex manufacturing supply chains.
