Summary:

    The Director of Maintenance is responsible to the Accountable Manager for the overall management and safe operation of aircraft maintenance and repair activities at AAT.

    Oversight of personnel, facilities, tools, equipment, and adherence to all applicable regulations, manuals, and customer requirements.

    Oversee all aircraft maintenance and repair operations, ensuring compliance with CFRs, AAT policies, the Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, and Training Program Manual.

    Manage repair station resources, including staffing, facilities, equipment, and training, to maintain compliance and operational readiness.

    Implement and monitor safety standards, initial and recurrent training, and on-the-job training for all personnel.

    Ensure employees are informed of changes to AAT manuals and procedures.

    Coordinate pre-data meetings, assemble teams, and complete Pre-Data Checklists in collaboration with customers and internal departments.

    Collaborate with the Chief Inspector on training programs, Repairman certificates, and overall maintenance compliance.

    Oversee maintenance activities on Canadian-registered aircraft and ensure proper handling of scrap parts.

    Communicate with customers regarding inspections, hidden damage, and required corrective actions.

Requirements:

    Extensive knowledge of CFRs, FAA regulations, and manufacturer s specifications.

    Proven experience managing a repair station or large maintenance operation.

    Strong leadership, training, and team coordination skills.

    Familiarity with Quality Control, Training Program, and Repair Station Manuals.

    U.S. Citizenship (as defined by ITAR).
