JOB TITLE: Sheet Metal Structures Assembly - 1st Shift

PAY RATE: $22-27/hour

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Shift: 1st (Mon Thurs, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM EST)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Perform operations such as filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, drilling, reaming, riveting, countersinking, and cold working

Align parts on jigs using templates and fixtures for assemblies requiring controlled tooling or build-to-print

Measure parts using various methods to verify dimensions

Modify assemblies to incorporate changes and perform repairs

Work from blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and shop orders

Monitor and verify quality; develop corrective actions as needed

Interface effectively with team members and supervisory staff

No relocation assistance provided

Requirements:

High School Diploma

3+ years of sheet metal assembly or aircraft structure experience

Proficient with hand tools (torque wrenches, drills, riveting tools, inspection tools, etc.)

Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings or instructions

Mathematical skills to understand calculations used in assigned areas

Competent using computers and systems to access, maintain, and manipulate data

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as an Assembler or Aircraft Structures Mechanic

Experience with F-16, C-130, or F-35 structures
