Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionics Technician for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Must be willing and able to work first or second shift. •Harness Build up experience •Solder/crimping experience •Wiring repair
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: •Build and repair electrical harnesses for avionics systems, including reading and interpreting schematics and diagrams •Utilize wire marking machines to label and identify wires and cables •Operate harness braiding machines to protect and organize wires and cables •Work with wafer connections, including assembly, testing, and troubleshooting •Modify and construct Gigabit Ethernet Switch (GES) systems, including troubleshooting and repair Perform ethernet wiring modifications and constructions, including testing and troubleshooting •Assemble, troubleshoot, and modify circuit breaker panels and matrix assemblies •Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex technical issues •Apply knowledge of avionics systems and components to troubleshoot and repair complex problems Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed •Adhere to safety protocols and procedures when working with electrical systems and components
REQUIRED EDUCATION: •Accredited HSD/GED
