PDS Tech Commercial, in partnership with a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to play a critical role in the design, development, and verification of advanced system solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects that directly contribute to mission success and the advancement of aerospace technology.
As a Systems Engineer, you’ll apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to ensure compatibility across complex systems of systems. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, conduct technical reviews, and apply rigorous systems engineering practices to deliver safe, reliable, and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional teams to define and maintain system requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and verification needs.
Apply collaborative approaches to plan, design, develop, and verify complex system solutions.
Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate performance requirements.
Develop, manage, and validate system and supplier requirements to ensure compliance with program standards.
Conduct design reviews and technical assessments, offering recommendations to ensure system performance, safety, and reliability.
Support and improve requirements management, risk analysis, opportunity management, and readiness assessments.
Resolve cross-functional technical issues to ensure seamless integration.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
9+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Hands-on Systems Engineering experience, including system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Leadership experience, such as guiding engineering teams and driving successful outcomes.
Active U.S. Security Clearance.
