Systems Engineer – Drive Advanced Aerospace Solutions!
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our client Honeywell in Clearwater, FL. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and managing complex systems for the Embedded GPS/INS product line. You’ll work within cross-functional teams to ensure system integrity, compliance, and performance across the full lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
As a Systems Engineer, you will:
Facilitate the design and development of advanced systems, including hardware and software components.
Execute complex engineering projects and guide system deployment and configuration.
Provide technical guidance to resolve system issues and minimize downtime.
Perform requirements management, technical risk management, and system integration activities.
Develop System Verification test cases/scripts and execute testing for complex electronic hardware requirements.
Support major design reviews (SRR, PDR, TRR, CDR, FCA/PCA, TIMs) with internal and external customers.
Collaborate with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and Integrated Program Teams (IPTs).
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Mathematics.
7+ years of experience in systems engineering and project guidance.
Strong knowledge of systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or Software Engineering.
Experience with DOORS, MBSE, MATLAB, and Simulink.
Familiarity with navigation and sensor products (gyroscopes, accelerometers).
Knowledge of the Systems Engineering “V” model.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
