Systems Engineer – Drive Advanced Aerospace Solutions!

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our client Honeywell in Clearwater, FL. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and managing complex systems for the Embedded GPS/INS product line. You’ll work within cross-functional teams to ensure system integrity, compliance, and performance across the full lifecycle.

What You’ll Do
As a Systems Engineer, you will:

• Facilitate the design and development of advanced systems, including hardware and software components.

• Execute complex engineering projects and guide system deployment and configuration.

• Provide technical guidance to resolve system issues and minimize downtime.

• Perform requirements management, technical risk management, and system integration activities.

• Develop System Verification test cases/scripts and execute testing for complex electronic hardware requirements.

• Support major design reviews (SRR, PDR, TRR, CDR, FCA/PCA, TIMs) with internal and external customers.

• Collaborate with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and Integrated Program Teams (IPTs).

What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Mathematics.

• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering and project guidance.

• Strong knowledge of systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or Software Engineering.

• Experience with DOORS, MBSE, MATLAB, and Simulink.

• Familiarity with navigation and sensor products (gyroscopes, accelerometers).

• Knowledge of the Systems Engineering “V” model.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
