Test Reliability Technician
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034
Job Type: Full-time; Consultant (12 Months)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Second Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $28 per hour + 10% shift differential ($30.80/hour)
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a world-class leader in the aerospace industry to hire a Test Reliability Technician. In this role, you’ll ensure critical aircraft systems and components meet rigorous performance standards by executing test plans, analyzing data, and supporting engineering development efforts. Your work will directly impact the safety, quality, and reliability of aerospace technology used worldwide.
Plan, assemble, disassemble, and perform engineering development and qualification tests on aircraft components.
Follow blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances.
Conduct functional testing using pre-established test procedures.
Monitor tests through completion, record and document acceptance or failure results, and service test equipment.
Demonstrate proper use of hand tools, machine tools, test equipment, and measuring devices.
Load and unload equipment into test beds safely and accurately.
Participate in audits, continuous improvement efforts, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
Collaborate across teams to resolve technical issues and meet customer deadlines.
Train others in technical processes as needed.
Required:
High School Diploma (or 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of diploma/GED).
Ability to follow technical drawings, diagrams, and test procedures.
Hands-on experience with hand/machine tools, test equipment, and measuring devices.
Proficiency with computer tools such as SAP and ability to follow digital work instructions.
Willingness to provide steel toe shoes (reimbursed up to $159).
Preferred:
Experience in aerospace or related industries.
Familiarity with quality systems and continuous improvement programs.
Strong initiative and ability to support cross-functional collaboration.
