Pay Rate: $29–$31 per hour + $110 weekly per diem (for qualified candidates over 100 miles away)
Schedule: Monday–Friday; must be able to work any assigned shift

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking skilled Machine Operators to join our team, partnering with a global leader in the industry. This role is vital to producing high-quality aerospace and industrial components that meet exacting standards, ensuring safety, innovation, and reliability worldwide.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate conventional and CNC machines to produce parts, mechanisms, and assemblies.

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine machining sequences and setups.

• Use precision measuring tools to inspect parts and ensure strict tolerance requirements.

• Perform related machining functions including milling, drilling, boring, honing, grinding, deburring, and fastening.

• Monitor and verify product quality through inspection and control procedures.

• Conduct routine machine maintenance (filters, bulbs, lubrication, coolant levels, etc.).

• Move parts and assemblies within the shop as needed to support production flow.

• Mentor and assist other operators, supporting a collaborative, high-performance environment.

• Train to become MVP qualified for advanced capabilities.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machine operation experience

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications

• Strong understanding of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)

• Willingness to work any assigned shift and stand for an 8-hour shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a formal machinist apprenticeship or equivalent technical training

• Experience operating both manual and CNC equipment in a high-precision environment
