Electrical Technician
Location: Huntsville, AL 35808
Job Type: Full-Time; Consultant (2 Months)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with Saturday OT as needed
Pay Rate: $32.33 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an Electrical Technician to partner with a leader in the aerospace industry. In this role, you’ll support engineers in the design, development, testing, and improvement of advanced aerospace systems. Your expertise will help ensure products and processes meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
As an Electrical Technician, you will:
Support engineers in product and process development, modification, and improvement efforts.
Inspect, test, maintain, research, repair, and install electrical equipment and systems.
Test new and modified products, processes, and systems to ensure functionality and safety.
Identify and recommend process improvements and preventive actions.
Work independently on recurring assignments while adapting standard procedures as needed.
Ensure all work complies with technical standards, instructions, and quality requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of electrical assembly experience.
IPC-A-610 certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
IPC J-STD-001 certification.
Military electrical experience.
Additional Requirements:
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Compliance with a zero-tolerance drug policy (including marijuana).
Ability to wear required PPE (no steel-toe shoes required).
