Electro Mechanical Technician
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034
Job Type: Full-time; Consultant (12 Months)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Second Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $20 per hour + 10% shift differential ($22/hour)
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
PDS Tech Commercial, in partnership with a global leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Technician to support the development and assembly of critical aerospace components. In this role, you’ll apply your technical expertise to ensure precision, quality, and safety while contributing to groundbreaking projects that shape the future of flight.
Assemble electronic devices, tools, and products according to blueprints, schematics, and process documentation.
Use hand and power tools to perform routine, complex, and repetitive assembly operations.
Plan, fabricate, assemble, test, inspect, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic hardware.
Analyze test results to validate acceptance criteria and ensure product quality.
Comply with all environmental, health, and safety standards.
Required:
High School Diploma (or 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of diploma/GED).
At least 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
Ability to work from drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Willingness to work second shift and provide own steel toe shoes (reimbursed up to $150).
Preferred:
Soldering certification.
Experience with inspection and troubleshooting of electronic/electrical systems.
