Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Inspectors for a 2nd shift contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Basic Computer Skills
• Blueprint Reading
• IPC-WHMA-A-620
• Visual Inspection
• Wireharness Print Reading
• Candidate has a strong background in the manufacturing process of Cables Inspections.
• Has the willingness and ability to perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed.
• MUST have experience with soldered and crimp inspection on cables using IPC-A-620 standards.
• Requires IPC 620 soldering experience
• Detail-oriented and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.
• A team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers and management when resolving quality issues.
• Proficient with Personal Computers.
• Candidates must take and pass a medical screening exam as outlined in the supplier guide.
• Candidates must be able to read/write English

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed Cables Inspections.
• Uses various measuring devices. Accepts, rejects, or reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
• Works from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
• Has the willingness and ability to perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas if needed. Experience with Cables and able to identify non-conformances IAW IPC-A-620, & specific other requirements.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent

WORK HOURS:
• 4/10 work schedule
• 2nd Shift
• Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM EST
• Overtime available on weekends
