As an Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer, your day-to-day will span the full lifecycle of product development:
Analyze customer and system requirements to develop architectural approaches and detailed specifications.
Design and document detailed electrical hardware, including integrated circuits, cable builds, and circuit logic.
Validate and verify designs through testing, review, and analysis.
Support system troubleshooting and provide engineering solutions across product lifecycle stages.
Partner with Supplier Management on make/buy decisions and technical services.
Investigate emerging technologies to shape concepts for future designs.
Ensure compliance with engineering processes, technical performance measures, and aerospace drawing release standards.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in electrical design and analysis (or equivalent advanced technical education/experience).
Strong background in integrated circuit design (power supply design, cable builds, circuit logic).
Proficiency with Zuken tools for electrical design.
Familiarity with CATIA V5 or SolidWorks.
Understanding of the aerospace drawing release process.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
ABET-accredited degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
Hands-on experience in aerospace or related high-reliability industries.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under general direction with minimal oversight.
