Pay Starting at: $71.90 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global aerospace leader to hire a Design and Analysis Engineer. In this role, you’ll apply advanced engineering expertise to design, analyze, and test complex electronic and electrical systems that power next-generation aircraft, autonomous vehicles, mission systems, and precision engagement systems.
Your work will directly impact critical aerospace programs, from tactical fighter upgrades to emerging autonomous technologies—advancing both defense and commercial innovation.

Develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements aligned with customer needs.
Translate requirements into system architecture, hardware/software designs, and interface specifications with full lifecycle traceability.
Define and execute test and validation approaches to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
Resolve integration issues and production anomalies across hardware and software systems.
Investigate and apply emerging technologies for future product designs and business opportunities.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance and seamless system integration.
Solve technical problems on fielded hardware and software throughout the lifecycle.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support high-visibility programs and advanced aerospace initiatives.
Occasional domestic or international travel may be required.
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, physics, chemistry, mathematics, or data science.
Willingness and ability to work 100% onsite at one of the listed locations in the St. Louis region.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
Experience in the aerospace industry.
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Background in design/build or test teams.
Experience with electronic/electrical system design, test plan development, or engineering processes.
Knowledge of system design, data structures, and architecture.
Expert Level 4: Bachelor’s degree + 9 or more years’ related work experience, Master’s degree + 7 or more years, or PhD + 4 or more years.
Consultant Level 5: Bachelor’s degree + 14 or more years’ related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
ABET accreditation is preferred, though not required.
