Pay starting at: $53.34 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Design and Analysis Engineer to join a world-class aerospace team. In this role, you’ll apply your engineering expertise to develop, analyze, and maintain complex electronic and electrical systems that drive mission success across both defense and commercial aerospace programs.
Your contributions will directly impact emerging technologies, sustainment, and modernization programs that ensure aircraft, weapons systems, and support equipment perform at the highest standards.

Develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements.
Translate requirements into system architectures, hardware/software designs, and interface specifications.
Conduct testing and validation to ensure designs meet operational and functional requirements.
Resolve integration issues and production anomalies throughout the product lifecycle.
Investigate and apply emerging technologies for future aerospace product designs.
Support supplier performance monitoring to ensure compliance with system requirements.
Create and maintain engineering processes and technical performance specifications.
Participate in problem-solving and system improvement initiatives across diverse aerospace programs.
Collaborate in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
Domestic and international travel may be required.
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or data science.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Willingness and ability to work 100% onsite at one of the listed St. Louis region locations.
Experience in the aerospace industry.
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Experience in design/build or test teams.
Knowledge of system design, data structures, and architecture.
Background in electronic/electrical system design or testing.
Associate Level 2: Bachelor’s degree and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience, or a Master’s degree.
Experienced Level 3: Bachelor’s degree and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience, or a Master’s degree with relevant experience.
ABET accreditation is preferred, though not required.
