About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a global aerospace leader, is seeking experienced Systems Engineers to support the Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team in Everett, WA. This is a career-defining opportunity to contribute to next-generation aircraft development, ensuring world-class system architecture, safety, and certification compliance.

As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping aircraft systems by driving requirements engineering, architecture design, verification & validation (V&V), and ensuring alignment with ARP4754A and ARP4761 standards.

What You’ll Do

• Lead requirements definition, decomposition, and allocation from aircraft to system and item levels.

• Develop and maintain airplane/system architecture and ensure traceability across design phases.

• Support safety analyses, including FHA, PSSA, SSA, CMA, and FMEA/FMES.

• Plan and execute verification and validation activities across the full V-model lifecycle.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (hardware, software, safety, and test engineering).

• Provide documentation and technical support for FAA/EASA certification efforts.

• Participate in design reviews, audits, and technical interchange meetings.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Aerospace, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.

• 9–15 years of experience in systems engineering across aerospace, automotive, or other complex domains.

• Strong knowledge of the V-Diagram lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, verification, and validation.

• Hands-on experience with safety and certification processes (ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254).

• Strong analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS).

• Familiarity with system modeling tools (SysML/UML, Cameo, or equivalent).

• Test planning and execution across multiple system integration levels.

• Knowledge of aircraft design, development, and certification.
