Systems Engineer

Schedule: Monday–Friday; First Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Starting Pay : $54.10 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a global aerospace leader, is seeking experienced Systems Engineers to support the Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team in Everett, WA. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping aircraft systems by driving requirements engineering, architecture design, verification & validation (V&V), and ensuring alignment with ARP4754A and ARP4761 standards.
Lead requirements definition, decomposition, and allocation from aircraft to system and item levels.
Develop and maintain airplane/system architecture and ensure traceability across design phases.
Support safety analyses, including FHA, PSSA, SSA, CMA, and FMEA/FMES.
Plan and execute verification and validation activities across the full V-model lifecycle.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (hardware, software, safety, and test engineering).
Provide documentation and technical support for FAA/EASA certification efforts.
Participate in design reviews, audits, and technical interchange meetings.
Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Aerospace, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.
9–15 years of experience in systems engineering across aerospace, automotive, or other complex domains.
Strong knowledge of the V-Diagram lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, verification, and validation.
Hands-on experience with safety and certification processes (ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254).
Strong analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS).
Familiarity with system modeling tools (SysML/UML, Cameo, or equivalent).
Test planning and execution across multiple system integration levels.
Knowledge of aircraft design, development, and certification.
