Lean Process Improvement Practitioner
Job Type: Full-Time; Consultant (6 Months)
Location: Everett, WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, First Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Starting Pay : $55.51 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global aerospace leader to hire a Lean Process Improvement Practitioner. In this role, you will be a key driver of operational excellence—coaching, leading, and facilitating process improvements that impact both manufacturing and business functions. Your work will directly influence efficiency, quality, and innovation, helping teams adopt continuous improvement practices that shape the future of aerospace production.
Lead and coach implementation of Lean standard concepts in manufacturing areas.
Partner with manufacturing, functional support, and management to drive systematic problem-solving initiatives.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating workshops such as Accelerated Improvement Workshops, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, and more.
Mentor practitioners at all levels, from new learners to senior leaders, on Lean tools and daily management practices.
Develop and deliver training materials to support Lean adoption across the organization.
Support advanced process improvement initiatives, strategy development, and business acquisition activities.
Identify risks and opportunities for improvement, creating and deploying new tools where needed.
Participate in maturity evaluations, internal assessments, and reflection activities to continuously evolve Lean practices.
Occasionally support 2nd and 3rd shifts as required.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Lean Practitioner (Level 3 or 4 preferred).
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Confident presenter with excellent communication skills.
Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent training.
Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) and 10 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination (e.g., Master’s degree + 8 years, 14 years of related work experience, etc.).
