Schedule: Monday–Friday | Must be able to work any assigned shift, plus overtime/weekends as needed
Pay Rate: $42–$45 per hour (+ $110/week per diem for qualified candidates)

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking Assembly Technicians to join our team, partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry. As part of the assembly team, you will play a hands-on role in building the structures that power the next generation of aircraft. Your precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail will ensure that every component meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

What You’ll Do

• Work with blueprints, specifications, and work orders to assemble and install parts and structures to exacting quality standards.

• Perform manual and automated assembly operations, including drilling, sealing, fastener installation, varnishing, painting, and sub-assembly.

• Use precision measuring instruments to verify quality and compliance.

• Document any discrepancies in line with specifications, processes, and procedures.

• Support the continuous flow of production by training, assisting, and coaching other employees.

• Conduct functional testing, rework, and fabrication as needed.

• Move and handle parts, materials, and assemblies using shop-assigned equipment.

• Perform minor machine maintenance and support preventative maintenance activities.

• Cross-train in inspection and become SIA qualified with provided training.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to work any assigned shift, including overtime and weekends as needed.

• Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for an entire 8-hour shift.

• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow technical blueprints and instructions.

• Local candidates strongly preferred.

• Must be available to start on 10/6 (pending contingencies).

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on skills in drilling, sealing, installing fasteners, varnishing, painting, countersinking, and structural assembly.

• Prior aerospace or manufacturing experience.

• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools.
