Schedule: Monday – Friday, First Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Starting Pay Rate: $34.67  per hour

Make an Impact Through Lean Transformation

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Lean Practitioner to partner with a leader in the aerospace industry. In this role, you will champion Lean practices, empower teams to solve problems systematically, and help drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and support operations. Your expertise will directly impact efficiency, quality, and performance on high-visibility programs.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and coach day-to-day implementation of Lean production system concepts in manufacturing and support areas.

• Facilitate and mentor systematic problem-solving activities with cross-functional teams and leadership.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, training, and tools.

• Lead or support workshops including Accelerated Improvement Events, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizens, and other Lean methodologies.

• Partner with senior managers and executives to implement and sustain Daily Management structures.

• Provide instruction in Lean tools and principles, while updating and formatting training materials.

• Mentor less experienced practitioners to ensure proper use of Lean methods.

• Support strategy development, remove roadblocks, and empower teams to drive solutions.

• Participate in maturity assessments and internal process improvements.

• Maintain an individual development plan while contributing to team growth.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Lean Practitioner (Level 3 or 4).

• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to challenges.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Lean Six Sigma certification.

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing or related industries.

Education/Experience:
High School diploma/GED and 4+ years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (Associate’s degree + 2 years, Bachelor’s degree, etc.).
