BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •6 years of related work experience •Must have the ability to obtain a government security clearance • Landing gear • Powerplants • Flight controls • Fueling/Defueling • Aircraft movement/Launch & Recovery
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: •Responsible for incoming and outgoing flight operations, follow on maintenance and routine trouble shooting. •Mechanic will perform/assist with all launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/Basic Post Flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing. •Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and Pnuedralic systems and components on the aircraft. • Responsible for the acceptableness of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces and periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings and crew escape system of the aircraft. • Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access equipment requiring repair.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: •Accredited HSD/GED
