Chipton-Ross is seeking a/an/multiple for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Must have an active secret clearance or the ability to obtain one •At least 3 years of experience with fabrication environments including cable and harness, SMT board fabrication, or maintenance of military design product. •At least 3 years of experience with Certification in solder and harness capability to MIL STD requirements. At least 3 years of experience with fabricating electrical •equipment designed from a blueprint, schematic, and engineering guides. •At least 3 years of experience with software tools and Microsoft products •Experience communicating issues (both verbal and written) with the design and/or the process requirements to management and or engineers. •Self-starter able to perform tasks with minimal supervision
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: •Test Engineering department designs and fabricates equipment that will be used in the development and manufacture of tactical hardware. •We are seeking early career individuals who will be fabricating electronic, electro-mechanical assemblies (and sub-assemblies) to Engineering drawings. •Daily activity would include not only a fast-paced fabrication environment, but it would also include using several computer-based programs that will update job status, Quality Inspections, and Engineering changes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Solder certification to J-STD-001, IPC-7711/IPC-7721 •Experience in procurement and acquisition of test materials •Experience interpreting and building
