Summary:
Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems.
Translate customer contractual needs into system test solutions while balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Establish functional and technical specifications and standards; resolve hardware/software interface issues; define input/output parameters; and ensure system/subsystem integration.
Review, evaluate, and derive requirements for testability; develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules.
Coordinate subsystem/system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
Analyze test results and prepare detailed subsystem/system evaluation reports to verify and validate performance.
Write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to verify fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems.
The candidate will provide hands-on hardware support in the lab
Requirements:
Active Secret Clearance.
Bachelor s degree in a STEM field with 5 years of professional experience, or Master s degree with 3 years of professional experience.
2 4 years of electrical troubleshooting, lab testing, and electrical testing experience.
1 2 years of CAD/CAE tool knowledge.
2 4 years of experience writing reports and procedures.
Background in electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering.
Comfortable working outdoors for testing at on-site tether locations and off-site flight tests.
Experience with vendor selection and procurement of test-related hardware.
Familiarity with mechanical design software (Windchill, Creo, SolidWorks) to support quick-turn tooling for integration activities.
Experience in procedure development and redlining, including leading review and approval processes.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Willingness to travel for test events or customer meetings.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
