Product Acceptance Specialist
Location: North Charleston, SC 29418
Job Type: Full-Time, Consultant (6 Months)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Variable Shifts (must be able to work any shift based on business needs)
Pay Rate: $32.26 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a detail-oriented Product Acceptance Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring products meet rigorous design and quality requirements. Your expertise will directly impact aircraft safety, performance, and customer confidence.
As a Product Acceptance Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Verifying product conformance to design requirements and providing objective evidence of results.
Performing auditing, surveillance, and monitoring activities to uphold quality standards.
Identifying and documenting discrepancies, segregating, and controlling non-conforming items.
Conducting preliminary reviews and dispositions of non-conformance.
Partnering with customers to review products during verification processes.
Initiating corrective action requests for repetitive or significant non-conformances.
Required Skills/Experience:
Willingness and ability to work any assigned shift.
2+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, quality, or another regulated industry.
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
1+ years of experience applying analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Hands-on experience with hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gages, and thread gages.
Experience navigating CMES.
Experience working with REDARS and IVT systems.
Education:
High school diploma/GED required; vocational school or Associate degree is a plus.
Typically requires 1+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
