Product Acceptance Specialist B

Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking 4 Product Acceptance Specialists (level B) for a contract opportunity in North Charleston, SC.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Must be willing and able to work any shift assigned
• 2+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• 1+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements. Provides objective evidence of results. Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring. Identifies and documents discrepancies. Segregates and controls non-conforming items. Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance. Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification. Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action. Duties may include (but are not limited to):

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• 1+ years of experience with the following types of hand tools (calipers, digital optical micrometers, depth gages, thread gages, go no go gages, etc.)
• 1+ year experience navigating CMES
• 1+ years of experience working with REDARS, IVT

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

WORK HOURS:
FULL TIME/VARIABLE SHIFT
Need to be able to work all 3 shifts); need to be able to work weekend shift.

Candidates who do not have the flexibility to work all shifts or variable shifts should not apply for this opportunity. Overtime is scheduled based on business needs and may include weekend hours.
