Key Responsibilities
Lead design and development activity of the engine system through all aspects of the IPDS process on schedule, on budget and in compliance with all technical requirements. Key aspects include requirements validation and verification, resolution of key technical challenges, acquisition of hardware, management of fabrication cost and execution of qualification tasks. Broad indirect span of control of approximately 5-10 full time equivalent engineers with peak execution periods of ?15+. Cost account manager for assigned scope, including Earned Value Management System reporting. Annual budgetary responsibility approximately $3M-$8M or more.

• Monitor work of team members to recognize when they are “stuck” or “off track”
• Approve schedules and budgeted time for the tasks of the team members
YOU MUST HAVE
• Due to US export control laws, must be a US Citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 10 years directly related engineering experience in the design, development, manufacture, and/or test of gas turbine engines or similarly complex mechanical systems
