Summary:

This is a non-managerial, non-leadership role requiring regular and predictable attendance.

Lead the development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to define system designs.

Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product environment and guides design while verifying structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle.

Develop test plans and configurations, supporting test execution, and analyzing/reporting results to ensure systems and components meet requirements and specifications.

Define and document certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies.

Support in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing potential improvements.

Develop analytical processes and tools to enhance effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of development efforts.

Work is performed under minimal direction.

Requirements:

Advanced technical degree (Bachelor s, Master s, or PhD) in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.

Typically 9+ years of relevant work experience for a Bachelor s degree, or equivalent combinations of education and experience (e.g., PhD + 4 years, Master s + 7 years).

ABET accreditation is preferred in the USA but not required.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
