Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Schedule: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Summary:

Evaluates program and project requirements, develops complex equipment and tooling concepts, and designs solutions for the Production System.

Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine effects on product engineering design and rate estimates, including recommendations for robotics, automation, technology, and system integration for equipment and tooling.

Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomics, and regulatory requirements.

Validates contractual performance milestones, maintains configuration control, conducts reviews, and prepares plans for production readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares.

Provides training for Production and Maintenance personnel.

Develops and implements work-arounds, maintains configuration of hardware/software/documentation, and performs studies with recommendations for disposition of assets.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry with 5+ years experience, OR Master s with 3+ years, OR PhD with related experience, OR Equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., 9+ years without a degree).

Tool engineering or design engineering experience

5+ years of tool engineering experience

Ability to create tooling drawings

3D modeling experience

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Experience:

Proficiency with CATIA or Creo

ABET accreditation preferred, though not required.
