We are seeking an experienced Milling Machine Machinist 2 to join our team in Chandler, AZ. In this role, you will work in a collaborative environment with machinists, programmers, and engineers to produce precision components used in advanced aerospace systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills, as well as multi-axis CNC lathes

• Cut stock materials and prepare for machining operations

• Use calibrated precision measuring tools to verify part quality throughout production

• Provide feedback to CNC programmers to support process improvements

• Create simple CNC programs using NX CAM

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in line with 5S principles

Basic Qualifications

• 6 years of machining experience

• 4+ years setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Proficiency with precision measuring tools

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of machining experience

• 7+ years of CNC setup and operation experience

• 2+ years of CNC programming using CAM software

• Experience with Mitsubishi controls on DMG-Mori lathes and Haas controls on 3-axis/5-axis mills

• Familiarity with aerospace documentation, specifications, and quality requirements
