We are seeking an experienced Milling Machine Machinist 2 to join our team in Chandler, AZ. In this role, you will work in a collaborative environment with machinists, programmers, and engineers to produce precision components used in advanced aerospace systems.
Set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills, as well as multi-axis CNC lathes
Cut stock materials and prepare for machining operations
Use calibrated precision measuring tools to verify part quality throughout production
Provide feedback to CNC programmers to support process improvements
Create simple CNC programs using NX CAM
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in line with 5S principles
6 years of machining experience
4+ years setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Proficiency with precision measuring tools
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
10+ years of machining experience
7+ years of CNC setup and operation experience
2+ years of CNC programming using CAM software
Experience with Mitsubishi controls on DMG-Mori lathes and Haas controls on 3-axis/5-axis mills
Familiarity with aerospace documentation, specifications, and quality requirements
