PDS Tech Commercial, in partnership with a global aerospace leader, is seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanics to support operations in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring aircraft safety, reliability, and performance through hands-on maintenance, repair, and modification work. What You’ll Do:
Perform on-aircraft Depot Level/Heavy General maintenance across hydraulic, flight control, landing gear, fuel systems, monuments, and engines.
Carry out sealing, shimming, painting, and preservation of aircraft structures and systems.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, retrofit requirements, and technical documentation.
Use specialized aircraft tools and precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to quality standards.
Perform installation, removal, rigging, and servicing of aircraft systems and flight controls.
Complete essential component change-outs (servo pumps, filters, engine components).
Access aircraft data systems to manage parts requests and discrepancies.
Maintain safety, certifications, and compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of on-aircraft general maintenance experience.
4+ years of experience with Depot Level/Heavy General maintenance.
Skilled in multiple aircraft systems including hydraulic, fuel, landing gear, engines, and interiors.
Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Proficient computer skills for aircraft systems and reporting.
Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd), including weekends and holidays as needed.
Must meet physical requirements: climb ladders, lift 35+ lbs, confined space work, and extended standing/walking.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
FAA A&P License or Military Technical School equivalent (A&P rate: $40/hr).
Experience with aircraft engine runs and borescope inspections.
Ability to operate forklifts, mobile cranes, and powered elevating equipment.

Pay & Schedule:
Pay Rate: $35.00/hour (A&P licensed mechanics: $40.00/hour)
Schedule: Full-time, 9-month consultant role | Monday–Friday | Variable shifts
