Power BI, Tableau, and MS Power App Developer – Shape the Future of Data-Driven Decisions in Aerospace

Summary:
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a talented Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Power App Software Developer to join our aerospace industry partner in Chula Vista, CA. In this role, you will transform complex data into actionable insights and build intuitive applications that streamline processes across teams. Your work will directly empower business leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions that drive aerospace innovation.

Position Details:

• Job Type: Full-Time, 6-Month Consultant Role

• Location: Onsite in Chula Vista, CA (91910)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
   

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and identify data sources.

• Design and develop interactive Power BI and Tableau dashboards that integrate data from systems like SAP, databases, and Excel.

• Build scalable, user-friendly business applications with Microsoft Power Apps.

• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance optimization across reporting solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring reports and apps run seamlessly.

• Maintain, update, and support applications while developing user guides and training sessions for non-technical users.

• Provide knowledge-sharing and tutoring for teams new to Power BI.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and strong technical foundation.

• 2+ years of proven experience developing Power BI and Tableau dashboards.

• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Apps development.

• Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and MS SharePoint environments.

• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills to bridge technical and business teams.

• Ability to analyze schedules, costs, and business data for meaningful reporting.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP integrations.

• Certifications in Power BI or related technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).

• Experience integrating Power Apps with SharePoint, Dynamics 365, or Office 365.
