Summary:
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to join our team in partnership with a global aerospace leader in New Orleans, LA. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in shaping and optimizing the manufacturing process, ensuring precision, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives. This is your chance to make a direct impact on aerospace production while working with advanced systems, technologies, and processes.
What You’ll Do:
Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define as-built configurations.
Create and refine manufacturing concepts and strategies to meet business goals.
Integrate suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to support delivery requirements.
Review and approve supplier data for compliance with manufacturing requirements.
Define tooling requirements and manage tools from design through end-of-life.
Investigate and resolve complex manufacturing issues.
Perform producibility assessments and provide design/manufacturing input.
Develop integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support on-time delivery.
Draft, review, and update processes to meet business and regulatory requirements.
Author manufacturing planning documentation as a primary day-to-day responsibility.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing planning.
Proficiency with CAD and manufacturing systems.
Strong experience in authoring planning documentation.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with MESCI and Creo.
Education: Associate degree + 3+ years related work experience, or Bachelor’s degree + 1+ years, or 5 years equivalent experience.

Pay & Schedule:
Pay Range: $45 to $50/hour
Job Type: 12-month contract, full-time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7AM–3:30PM
