Precision Manufacturing Starts Here – Machinist!
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a mechanically inclined and detail-oriented Machinist to support high-volume production in a fast-paced aerospace environment. This is a hands-on opportunity for individuals with strong blueprint reading skills and a passion for precision machining.
About the Role
As a Machinist, you’ll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes, performing inspections, and maintaining quality standards. You’ll work with G-code, follow job instructions, and contribute to daily production goals while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.
Perform first-piece inspections and maintain quality throughout production.
Read and interpret blueprints and job instructions.
Deburr parts and meet daily production targets.
Edit G-code programs as needed.
Track and run jobs in order of precedence.
Log job information using the SAP system.
Maintain a clean work area using 5S principles.
Participate in daily tier meetings.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Strong mechanical knowledge and blueprint reading experience.
Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, OD mics, height gauges, depth mics, and steel rulers.
Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
1–2 years of CNC experience (preferred but not required).
Familiarity with SAP or similar systems.
Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.

Pay Rate: $22.00/hr.
Shift: 1st Shift – 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Subco Bonus Program: Up to $3,000 with the following payout structure:
$1,000 at 14 days with perfect attendance.
$1,000 at 60 days.
$1,000 at 90 days.
