Job Type: Full-time, Consultant (6 Months)
Schedule: Monday to Friday; primarily 1st shift with occasional 2nd shift (3p–11p) coverage
Pay Rate: $35–$37 per hour + $110 weekly per diem (if residing 100+ miles from site)

About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Consultant to partner with a leader in the aerospace industry. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring seamless synchronization of supply chains, supporting on-time delivery, and reducing variability across materials and processes. Your expertise will directly contribute to operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and the success of high-impact aerospace programs.

What You’ll Do

• Manage inventory systems, forecasting data, and procurement orders to ensure balanced supply and demand.

• Monitor customer inventory demand, material assets, and delivery timelines to optimize supply chain operations.

• Incorporate supplier and customer planning decisions to minimize variability and achieve optimal outcomes.

• Negotiate lead times with suppliers and oversee schedules to ensure timely delivery of spares and materials.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, customer support, engineering, quality, logistics, and warehousing teams.

• Utilize ERP/SAP systems for material handling, inventory management, and process optimization.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of experience, or MBA with 1–3 years of experience.

• Strong background in supply chain, logistics, material handling, expediting, and inventory control.

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), inventory management, and cycle counting.

• Ability to work primarily 1st shift with flexibility for occasional 2nd shift needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Proven ability to collaborate across teams and drive results under tight deadlines.
