What You’ll Do

As an Aeronautical Engineer, you’ll:

• Perform analysis, design, and testing of complex materials, components, and systems for aerospace products.

• Apply engineering principles to adapt and improve designs, incorporating heritage features and proven methods.

• Use advanced structural and product design software tools; apply GD&T principles.

• Develop, coordinate, and manage test programs to evaluate designs and document results.

• Interact with senior customer personnel and collaborate across technical groups to address significant technical challenges.

• Conduct research and contribute original ideas that shape preliminary and final design concepts.

• Release design results as data for review and integration into company products.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5 years of experience, or Master’s degree in Engineering with 3 years of experience.

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               

• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

• Experience with Siemens NX and strong knowledge of GD&T.

Preferred:

• Proven experience developing and managing test programs.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and contribute creative solutions.
