About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Stationary Engineer (Boiler Room Operator) to join our team in Glencoe, MD. This role is temp-to-perm with a pay increase once permanent. You’ll be responsible for monitoring and maintaining boilers, chillers, air compressors, and other critical building systems across 7 facilities within a short drive of our main building. A company vehicle and tools are provided for travel between sites.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain boilers and supporting systems in accordance with state and company standards.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, power distribution, and mechanical controls.
Perform general and preventative maintenance, including plumbing systems, electrical repairs, and vendor oversight.
Monitor the facility to ensure safety, security, and compliance.
Replace and maintain lighting systems, including bulbs and ballasts, as needed.
Maintain accurate logs, records, and documentation for inspections and maintenance activities.
Requirements
Maryland Stationary Grade 2 License (required).
5–8 years of experience in boiler operations, power plant, or stationary engineering.
Knowledge of chillers, air compressors, HVAC, and electrical systems.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must hold a valid driver’s license (MVR check required).

Pay Details: $33.00 per hour
