PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the aviation industry to find a results-driven Senior Project Manager to join their cutting-edge IT department in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you'll take charge of large-scale, high-impact IT projects that directly support the engineering teams — including a critical upgrade of enterprise PLM systems from ENOVIA 2013x to 3DExperience 2025x. As a strategic leader, you'll manage cross-functional teams, guide project execution, and shape the future of digital engineering infrastructure.
Lead enterprise-wide IT projects, especially the transition to 3DExperience 2025x, to be completed by 2027.
Establish a continuous upgrade strategy for all PLM environments.
Guide and mentor other Project Managers across the IT department.
Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and resources for complex engineering-related projects.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones, risks, and KPIs.
Oversee change management and ensure adherence to systems development life cycles.
Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to ensure transparency and alignment.
Improve portfolio management practices for better prioritization and performance.
Apply SAFe, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies based on project needs.
Optimize cross-functional team collaboration across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of IT Project/Program Management experience.
Proven success managing large-scale IT projects in complex environments.
Strong experience with SAFe, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies — ideally in aerospace or defense sectors.
Advanced communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Skilled in project management tools and frameworks.
Relevant certifications (PMP, SAFe, RTE, or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications:
Comfortable working independently with limited supervision.
Collaborative mindset with strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience navigating cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
