PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the aviation industry to find a results-driven Senior Project Manager to join their cutting-edge IT department in Fort Worth, TX. Your Mission: Drive Innovation at Scale

In this role, you'll take charge of large-scale, high-impact IT projects that directly support the engineering teams — including a critical upgrade of enterprise PLM systems from ENOVIA 2013x to 3DExperience 2025x. As a strategic leader, you'll manage cross-functional teams, guide project execution, and shape the future of digital engineering infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Lead enterprise-wide IT projects, especially the transition to 3DExperience 2025x, to be completed by 2027.

• Establish a continuous upgrade strategy for all PLM environments.

• Guide and mentor other Project Managers across the IT department.

• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and resources for complex engineering-related projects.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones, risks, and KPIs.

• Oversee change management and ensure adherence to systems development life cycles.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to ensure transparency and alignment.

• Improve portfolio management practices for better prioritization and performance.

• Apply SAFe, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies based on project needs.

• Optimize cross-functional team collaboration across the organization.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 5+ years of IT Project/Program Management experience.

• Proven success managing large-scale IT projects in complex environments.

• Strong experience with SAFe, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies — ideally in aerospace or defense sectors.

• Advanced communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Skilled in project management tools and frameworks.

• Relevant certifications (PMP, SAFe, RTE, or equivalent).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Comfortable working independently with limited supervision.

• Collaborative mindset with strong organizational and time management skills.

• Experience navigating cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
