JOB TITLE: Cable Hipot Test Technician - 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Oldsmar, FL
PAY RATE: $19-27/hour

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Shift: Mon Thu, 3:30 PM 2:00 AM EST, with weekend OT as needed

Summary:

Performs a variety of duties in cable build, electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.

Responsibilities include setting up, troubleshooting, calibrating, diagnosing, and maintaining equipment, components, devices, or systems.

Tests and troubleshoots manufactured cables, working from schematics, engineering drawings, and verbal or written instructions.

Operates related equipment, conducts tests, and reports data in the prescribed format.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

1 2 years of cable testing experience, including HIPOT testing

1 2 years of cable building experience

Experience with cable design and cable harnesses

Ability to read and write English

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
