JOB TITLE: Material Planner

PAY RATE: $20-28/hour

Summary:
Create Purchase Orders in Quantum Control for aircraft parts and services.
Communicate material shortages and take immediate corrective actions.
Maintain and track Service Center inventory when applicable.
Perform incoming/receiving inspections per Repair Station/Quality Control Manual under guidance of Chief Inspector.
Issue materials to Work Orders/Work Packages.
Maintain adequate stock of consumables and monitor shelf life.
Submit and track warranty claims for core returns.
Use business systems and portal data to track maintenance needs and communicate open part status, specifications, availability, and delivery timelines.
Plan daily workload by analyzing reports, schedules, and priorities.
Solve issues related to parts availability, delivery times, and regulatory requirements.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Associate s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
2+ years experience in FAA Part 145 Repair Station or business/corporate aircraft maintenance environment.
Strong attention to detail and data entry skills.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Physical Requirements:
May be exposed to operational noise, heat/cold, dust, aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.
Ability to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, move, reach, or stretch for extended periods.
Work safely while adhering to FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
Ability to read, hear, speak, and see without restrictions.
Communicate effectively in Business English.
Ability to push, carry, lift, or move items up to 25 lbs throughout the shift.
